On the Prairie Concert

The second annual spring concert in our "On the Prairie" music series features renowned Jazz soloist, Rosana Eckert.
Renowned Jazz soloist Rosana Eckert will perform at the second annual spring concert in The Historic Frankford Church. Rosana will be accompanied by Davy Mooney on guitar and Jeffry Eckels on bass.
Rosana is a dynamic musician, recognized internationally as a live and studio vocalist, published songwriter and arranger, and master teacher of jazz and voice. Learn more about Rosana at https://www.rosanaeckert.com
Davy is Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies and head of the jazz guitar program at the University of North Texas, where he teaches private guitar lessons, advanced jazz improvisation, and the L-5 guitar ensemble.
Jeffry is one of the country's most sought-after bassists, and is known for his vibrant personality and his amazing technique. NPR listeners got to hear his creativity every week for over 15 years as a member of the live jazz trio on Public Radio International.
From heartbreaking ballads to funky grooves to bluesy swing to modern and ethereal, there's something for everyone.
