2022 Frankford Autumn Concert on the Prairie
Frankford Preservation Foundation - 2022 Autumn Concert on the Prairie
Our On the Prairie Concert is back! This will be a wonderful event for all!
Join us, Friday, October 28th. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert starts at 7pm inside the Historic Frankford Church.
We are excited that 5 Second Rule, an energetic acoustic band based in Dallas will be performing!
The band will perform a first and second set, each about 45 minutes.
Performing both traditional and original material, 5 Second Rule's eclectic blend of styles has had local audiences raving since 2008. They are ranked one of the Top 10 Irish bands in Texas.
Expect to hear classic rock infused with Irish fiddle tunes, American Roots music, plus music from other Celtic traditions such as French-Canadian, Cajun, bluegrass, Scottish, and more! Their lineup features Kat Glaze on fiddle, David Lovrien (whistles, sax, keyboards), Ian Gill (guitar), Paul Dryer (mandolin, guitar, banjo) and Rick Holt (drums, percussion). All members contribute vocals as well.
5 Second Rule has performed at festivals, clubs and events across the Southwest including North Texas Irish Festival, Austin Celtic Festival, WRR-FM’s Picnic in the Park & Classic Cafe, State Fair of Texas, Dallas City Arts Festival, Desoto Creekfest, Cowtown Goes Green, Oklahoma Celtic Festival, and others.
