Spring Concert featuring Peter and the Wolf
Spectrum Chamber Music Society will present a Spring Concert featuring Peter and the Wolf. The concert will include narration of the charming story.
Sunday, March 29, doors open at 2:30pm, concert starts at 3pm (90 minutes with intermission)
Reception immediately following the concert, weather permitting.

Félix Darío Morgan Gonzáles: Two Selections from Suite Popular Cubana

II. Recordando el cha cha cha
German composer Engelbert Humperdinck’s beloved opera Hansel and Gretel (1893) is presented here in an engaging adaptation for wind quintet and narrator. Drawing from the classic Brothers Grimm tale, narration introduces each musical excerpt, connecting the music to the unfolding story.
During the first half of the program, the musicians will share brief insights between pieces, introducing the audience to the unique voices of the wind instruments.
